Updated September 16, 2026. This notice covers the Super Quest browser game, published by AppsOverFlow .
Super Quest saves your progress on this device. Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics are on by default when no saved preference exists. Your saved opt-out is respected, and you can turn analytics off in Privacy settings. We use analytics to understand gameplay and improve the game. You can play with analytics off. Super Quest is free to play, with no purchase required. Ads are planned for future releases. Advertising integrations are currently disabled, and the overview and guide have prepared placements. Google controls site approval, consent and ad availability.
For how Google uses your personal information when you consent, read Google’s Business Data Responsibility information.
For the Android, iPhone and iPad versions, read the separate Native app privacy policy.
What stays on your device
Your current level, completed levels, best results, and sound preference are stored in your browser’s local storage. Your analytics and advertising choices are stored there too. This game does not upload its local save file. Settings → Transfer progress lets you download a progress backup and explicitly import it on another device or site address. Backups contain game progress, sound preference and your selected look; they exclude analytics and advertising choices. Changing the site address does not transfer browser storage automatically. Clearing this site’s browser data removes these settings and progress.
Optional analytics
Analytics is on by default when no saved preference exists. Saved opt-outs are respected; you can turn analytics off in Privacy. While enabled, the game sends one page-visit event per page load when analytics starts, followed by gameplay events and limited control interactions. Google Tag Manager delivers these events to Google Analytics. The page address supplied by the game includes only the site's origin and path; query strings, fragments, and the referring page are omitted.
Gameplay events include level starts and completions, numeric results, the current character form, and collected powerups. Menu choices, level selections, and actions such as engaging the joystick, jumping, or firing use predefined control and action names. Joystick movement is not sampled continuously. These events contain no raw pointer coordinates, button text, typed input, session replay, name, email, account details, or saved progress file.
Google Analytics also automatically processes session and engagement information, browser and operating-system details, device information, language and screen resolution. It uses first-party analytics cookies and a browser identifier to distinguish visits. Google receives network information and can derive approximate geography, including country, region, city and the city's coordinates, from your IP address. City coordinates are not your device's precise location; the game does not ask for GPS access. This information is analytics data, not anonymous or device-only information. The same analytics choice controls both Tag Manager and Analytics. See Google's location and device data explanation.
Google Analytics property settings
As checked on September 16, 2026, the Google Analytics property has Google signals, granular location and device collection, and user-provided data collection with its automatic-detection option enabled. Its regional settings permit Google signals, granular location and device data, and advertising personalization in all configured regions.
The browser integration applies additional restrictions: it disables Google signals association and advertising personalization, and sends denied consent for advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalization. Enabled game analytics grants analytics storage only. The property's enabled options do not override these browser controls or mean that you have agreed to advertising or customer-data matching.
Google signals can associate eligible visit information with information from signed-in Google accounts whose users have agreed to that association and enabled personalized ads. Depending on their Google settings, this can involve location, Search history, YouTube history and activity on sites that partner with Google. Publishers receive aggregate insights, such as demographics and interests, rather than a person's Google account history. Our current browser tag disables this association.
User-provided data collection is a separate capability for matching consented customer information, such as email addresses, phone numbers or addresses, with Google data. Eligible information is hashed before transmission; hashing does not make it anonymous. Automatic detection also depends on Google tag configuration and the applicable consent. Super Quest has no player contact forms or account sign-in and sends no player User-ID or manually supplied customer-data payload. The account's automatic-detection option does not mean the game has collected player contact information. The browser continues to deny advertising user-data consent. A publisher's acknowledgment of Google's policy is not a player's consent.
Content advertising
The overview and game guide can show clearly labeled ads after their reading content. Eligible requests start only after Google's consent framework is ready and respect a saved advertising refusal. The analytics setting does not control these placements. Ad availability and Google's site approval still apply. Empty or blocked placements collapse.
Google's consent and advertising code may receive device and network information and read existing Google cookies. Ad requests may involve browser identifiers, cookies and interactions with ads. Where Google provides consent choices, use those controls to manage them. These prepared content placements are limited to the overview and guide; future game-break advertising is described below.
Ads during game breaks
Game-break advertising remains disabled. It requires separate H5 Games Ads approval and validation before it can be enabled. The prepared game-break integration is separate from the overview and guide placements.
Your choices
You can change analytics and advertising preferences in the game's privacy settings or turn both off below. A saved advertising refusal also prevents content-ad requests. Where available, Google ad choices on the overview and guide reopens Google's consent interface and removes that page's ad placement before review. Requests already sent cannot be recalled.
Allow eligible ads changes your local advertising preference while preserving your analytics choice. Google's consent decisions still apply. Your saved game progress is unchanged by either choice. To remove existing cookies and other stored site data, use your browser's site-data controls.
Return to the overview or guide after changing your preference.
Turning analytics off stops future game analytics collection after the integration reloads; it does not erase reports already received by Google. Clearing this site's data removes local cookies, preferences and game progress, but does not delete Google's existing reports. As checked on September 16, 2026, the property retains event-level data for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months, with new activity resetting the user-retention clock. These limits do not apply to standard aggregated reports. Uploaded analytics is managed separately from your local saved game.
You can review or delete eligible Google account activity in My Activity, manage Google's personalized ads in My Ad Center, or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on where supported. These Google controls are separate from the game's analytics preference; they do not delete your local game progress.
