Your game and local records

Super Quest is free to play. No purchase is required. The game and artwork are bundled for offline play, without a required player account or cloud save. Super Quest saves your selected level, progress, checkpoints, records, outfit, controls, sound, vibration and usage-analytics preferences on your device. Saved-game contents and control settings are not uploaded as analytics.

On Android, app backup and device transfer are disabled for these records. Clearing app storage in Android Settings or uninstalling removes them. On iPhone and iPad, deleting the app removes local saves and preferences; offloading may retain them, and Apple-managed backups follow your device settings and may restore local data.

Usage analytics and your setting

Google Analytics for Firebase helps AppsOverFlow understand which parts of Super Quest people use and improve the game. Usage analytics is on by default for a new installation on Android, iPhone and iPad, without a startup questionnaire. You can turn it off in Settings → Usage analytics without affecting gameplay. A saved opt-out is respected on later launches and updates.

On Android, an earlier under-18 or unknown-age choice also keeps analytics off. The new default does not record or infer that a player is an adult. Changed analytics preferences, any previous age restriction, and the local preference version and date remain on the device; they are not sent as analytics events. The app does not ask for a birth date.

If a preference cannot be read or saved, collection stays off. Gameplay remains available without an internet connection. When analytics is enabled, Firebase may buffer analytics events and upload them when a connection returns. Events generated while collection is disabled are not saved for later replay.

Information used

When enabled, the app reports a limited set of screen visits and gameplay events, such as level starts and finishes, retries, pauses, power-ups, pipe visits and outfit selections. Event details are limited to level/world numbers and predefined game choices. We do not include names, email addresses, exact ages, user-created text, saved-game contents, joystick coordinates or continuous touch movements in these events.

Firebase automatically records information such as first opens, sessions, engagement and app updates, in addition to the game events above. It uses a resettable app-instance identifier to connect activity from the same installation across sessions. We do not link that identifier to a player account, customer database or contact details.

Google also processes app version, device brand and model, operating system and screen details where available, and approximate country, region and city derived from the network IP address. City-level estimates are not precise GPS location. The app does not request location permission or send GPS coordinates. These identifiers and events are personal analytics data; they are not anonymous or local-only information.

Advertising identifiers, advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalization remain disabled. The iOS app also disables collection of the Apple vendor identifier. The current native releases do not set a player User-ID or use Google Tag Manager; advertising services are not active in these releases. The iOS app does not request cross-app tracking permission.

Google Analytics features

The shared Super Quest Analytics property has Google signals, granular location and device data, user-provided data collection and its automatic-detection option enabled. Regional settings also permit advertising personalization. These account settings do not replace your in-game analytics choice or grant permission on your behalf.

For eligible signed-in Google users who have allowed the association, Google signals can connect visits with information Google holds, which may include location, search and YouTube history, and activity on sites that partner with Google. This can enrich aggregate demographic and interest reports. AppsOverFlow does not receive an individual’s Google search or YouTube history through these reports.

The native apps keep advertising storage, advertising user-data sharing and advertising personalization denied. They do not collect advertising identifiers or implement customer matching, remarketing or personalized ads. An account-level permission does not switch on these features in the app.

Google’s user-provided data feature can match consented customer information, such as hashed email addresses or phone numbers, with Google data. The current native apps have no sign-in or contact-information form and send no such details or hashes. They do not send a developer-assigned player User-ID. Enabling automatic detection in the Analytics account does not create those data fields or obtain a player’s consent.

You can review and delete eligible activity associated with your Google account in Google My Activity and manage Google advertising preferences in My Ad Center. Those Google controls are separate from Super Quest’s Settings → Usage analytics switch.

Turning analytics off and retention

Turning usage analytics off in Settings stops future collection through the app and resets locally held analytics data and the app-instance identifier. It does not automatically delete reports already received by Google. A saved opt-out can be changed only through your setting; an app update does not switch it on again.

The linked Google Analytics property was checked on September 16, 2026: event-level retention was 2 months, user-level retention was 14 months, and new activity reset the user-retention clock. Standard aggregated reports are not limited by these controls. Uploaded analytics is managed separately from local game saves.

Without a player account or a retained Analytics identifier, we may be unable to locate a particular installation’s earlier events. No guaranteed server-deletion period is claimed here.

Data protection and permissions

Analytics transmissions use encrypted connections. Google processes the analytics information described here for AppsOverFlow. The app does not sell game records. Camera, microphone, contacts and precise-location permissions are not requested for gameplay or analytics. Sound and vibration follow your device and game settings and do not send separate usage data.

Future advertising

Ads are planned for future releases. Super Quest remains free to play, with no purchase required. Advertising disclosures and applicable consent choices will be updated before advertising is introduced.

Changes

This policy covers the native Android, iPhone and iPad versions of Super Quest published by AppsOverFlow. It does not describe the separate web game. Changes to online services or advertising require updated disclosures, and the Google Play Data safety and Apple App Privacy declarations must describe the version being distributed.
