# Super Quest Game and guide information updated: 2026-10-24. > Super Quest is a free, single-player browser platform game with 40 levels across 8 worlds. No purchase is required. Published by AppsOverFlow (https://appsoverflow.web.app/). Its overview is https://super-quest-game.web.app/ and the playable game is https://super-quest-game.web.app/play.html. Each world contains four main stages and one bonus challenge. Each course has three resonance shards, for 120 in total. All courses are selectable from Levels. The original game features a gliding gecko explorer, resonance shards, crystal growth forms, ember pulses, leaf gliding, echo gates, environmental hazards, and stone-like guardians. Protective crystal energy helps against enemies and hazards; pits and lava still cost a life. Play in a modern browser with JavaScript and Canvas support; no installation or account is required. Desktop controls use arrows or A/D to move, Space/Up/W to jump, Shift/Z to run, Down/S to crouch, and X/J to launch an ember pulse in Ember form. Phones, tablets, and iPads use a joystick and round Jump/Pulse buttons in landscape. Drag the joystick gently to walk slowly, farther to walk faster, and to its outer edge to run. In portrait, touch play pauses and shows a rotate prompt. Rotate the device manually to continue. The prompt’s Landscape button can request fullscreen and landscape locking where supported; starting, selecting, and resuming levels do not automatically request fullscreen. Progress is stored in the same browser on the same device and site address; it does not sync across devices. Gameplay analytics is on by default when there is no saved preference. Saved opt-outs are respected, and the game’s Privacy settings let players turn it off without affecting play. Ads are planned for future releases. Advertising integrations are currently disabled. The overview and guide have prepared labeled placements, subject to Google consent readiness, saved advertising preferences, site approval and ad availability. Game-break advertising requires separate H5 approval and validation before activation. ## Game and help - [Super Quest overview](https://super-quest-game.web.app/): Introduction to the game, worlds, and powerups. - [Play Super Quest](https://super-quest-game.web.app/play.html): Playable game, Levels menu, and in-game privacy controls. - [Game guide and FAQs](https://super-quest-game.web.app/guide.html): Readable overview, level count, desktop and touch controls, powerups, local saves, and single-player details. These routes include Crystalwake Dash, Crystal Switchbacks, Sunstone Express, Treetop Bounce, Aurora Iceway, Cloud Fleet, Emberworks and Crown Keep. New terrain mechanics include automatic springs, slippery ice and platforms that crumble then reset when clear. Floors and decks remain stationary; no course uses moving platforms or conveyor belts. Cloud Fleet uses anchored airship decks and fragile gangways; the camera remains player controlled. These are part of the existing 40-level total. ## Adventure challenges and retries Each course has an optional elevated trail with seven blue fragments and an upper-route treasure chest. Collecting its first blue fragment starts the timer; completing the trail grants ten fragments and never changes the player’s form. Growth and Ember form require deliberate resonance-block pickups. A chest grants twelve fragments. Failed trials do not cost a life and can be retried by leaving and returning to the first blue fragment. Trial/chest rewards stay secured through retries during the run. Guardians use telegraphed stomp waves, volleys or charges; some routes have flying enemies. Losing a life never moves the player to an earlier level. Game-over Retry uses the current level and its reached checkpoint with three fresh lives. Reopening the game selects that level at its start. Completed-course trial/treasure badges are stored with best results on the same browser and device. The first course in each of the eight worlds contains a linked underground bonus room. Stand on the flat top of an echo gate marked with a resonance glyph and hold Down/S, or pull the touch joystick down, to enter. Crystal fragments and an Ember crystal reward exploration; a return gate leads back to the same course. Travel preserves form, lives, the course timer and collected rewards. The eight rooms do not change the 40-course or 120-shard totals. ## Clover Coast and sound First Light introduces the coastal routes and a hidden echo chamber. Seaglass Steps has stone-core lanes and optional terraces. Windmill Way uses fixed platforms beside decorative windmills, with a simpler low road. The Clover Keep ends in the Clover Captain encounter with a changing attack pattern. Crystalwake Dash links spring bounces with shard trails and recovery ground. These courses are part of the existing 40 levels. Each of the eight worlds has distinct original music; underground rooms and guardian encounters have separate themes. Original music and game sounds start off. The sound button or M enables them; the browser remembers this preference. Music pauses with gameplay and when the page is hidden. ## Glide cloak and earned looks Seven optional cloak blocks appear in Oasis Outskirts, Canopy Climb, Northwind Traverse, Silver Cloud Circuit, Rainbow Relay, The Molten Mile and The Royal Ascent. Collect the cloak, then hold the existing Jump control while falling to glide for up to three game seconds between landings; release to fold it. It works independently of Small, Growth and Ember form. Landing restores its glide budget. Damage and death remove it; gates and Next level preserve it. Main routes do not require the cloak. The adventure map includes all 40 selectable course nodes, world progress and a Your looks panel. Best shards unlock Explorer at 12, Aurora at 36, Ember at 72 and Starlight at 120; Classic is free from the start. Shards are not spent and repeat clears cannot duplicate best shards. Looks only change appearance. Selection is saved alongside existing progress on the same browser and device. The remaining main courses have been individually rebuilt: crystal galleries, stepped sandstone temples, branched forest paths, snow and ice causeways, anchored airship decks, basalt piers and inner castle walls. Existing course IDs, 120 resonance shards and eight echo chambers are retained. ## Start, transfer and share Open the browser game, choose any course in Adventure map, and press Start adventure or Continue adventure. Reach the finish flag; defeat the guardian first when it guards the exit. Resonance shards, crystal trials and treasure are optional. The visible browser start guide is https://super-quest-game.web.app/guide.html#start-playing. Settings → Transfer progress lets you download a backup and restore it in another browser. Review before replacing the destination's progress; privacy choices stay on each device. After a course clear or game over, Share your result offers truthful current-run text and the public game link. Sharing does not transfer progress or create a leaderboard entry.
